Key Account Manager

Job Purpose Manage, maintain and grow selected accounts by increasing sales and products at customers.
Customers are to be kept updated with all new technologies that company have within their line card.
KAM will visit customers regularly and will quote on each request accordingly.
Collaboration within company is essential to the success of the KAM.
KAM must use the engineering resources at company in order to promote new products thus securing future sales.
Key Responsibilities: Establish, maintain and manage all aspects of the relationship with the customer in include technical, marketing and internal sale support.
Establish both short term and long-term customer needs in order to identify the total business potential available.
Development and review account objectives and strategies, addressing customer needs and business objectives.
Proactively promote and sell the full portfolio and company's products in support of marketing requirements and strategies to all potential customers including the defence and aerospace.
Proactively identify and pursue design-in opportunities, utilising technical support as appropriate.
Liaise and work with internal departments as appropriate, effectively co-ordinating resources.
In partnership with companys suppliers, initiate and drive joint visits to major customers.
Establish and regularly review and maintain profession customer profile and strategy documents.
Prepare sales forecasts and budgets.
Call Plans and MMLs to be part of monthly reporting.
Research and investigate potential business opportunities and competitor information.
Prepare and deliver presentations to existing and new major customers, at senior management and director level.
Prepare and deliver presentations at sales meetings and progress with new and existing major accounts.
Attend and participate in regular sales and products training sessions / meetings.
Ensure that negotiations with customers fall within defined costing / financial parameters.
Ensure effective conversion of orders into sales by managing the activities of the sales administrator(s) reporting into this position.
Assume additional responsibilities requested by the customer as necessary and / or as assigned by Management.
