Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and extroverted Key Account Manager to join a company in the petroleum industry, specifically focusing on diesel and fuel energy products.
The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of the fuel industry, a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with major wholesalers, and the expertise to conduct thorough market research to drive business growth.Key Responsibilities:Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, primarily major wholesalers in the fuel industry.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and any issues are promptly addressed.Regularly meet with clients to understand their business goals and align them with company offerings.Market Research and Analysis:Conduct comprehensive research on potential clients and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth.Understand the target market, including the specific needs and challenges faced by wholesalers in the fuel industry.Analyze competitor activities and market conditions to provide strategic insights and recommendations.Product Knowledge:Develop an expert understanding of the companys diesel and fuel energy products, including technical specifications and market applications.Communicate product features and benefits effectively to clients, ensuring they understand how the products meet their specific needs.Sales and Negotiation:Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of service with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of products and services to clients.Reporting and Documentation:Prepare regular reports on account status, market trends, and sales performance.Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, sales activities, and contracts in the CRM system.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar role, preferably within the petroleum or energy industry.Strong understanding of the fuel industry, particularly in diesel products and their applications.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to conduct thorough research and analyze market data.Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.A proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.Key Attributes:Extroverted Personality: Comfortable engaging with clients and building strong relationships.Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the petroleum (diesel/fuel energy) industry.Strategic Thinker: Ability to analyze market trends and make informed decisions.Client-Focused: Strong commitment to understanding and meeting client needs.On Offer:Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A collaborative and dynamic work environment.(Please note: Only candidates with the relevant requirements will be considered and contacted.
