As the leading medical recruitment agency in South Africa, our client has an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager based in Northern Cape - Kathu, South Africa. The Key Account Manager is responsible for the management of sales and relationships with allocated key accounts. To create long-term relationships with the portfolio of assigned clients and to grow the overall business.Responsibilities:Attending to member, HR, Union, and other requests via telephone, email and on confirmed visits to clients, including:Account/claim queries (rejections, short paid, unpaid etc.)Specialist and hospital authorisations, disease management enquiriesAcute, OTC, TTO, and chronic medicationAdding of dependents, card requests, change of option, change of personal information, new applications, reinstatement of dependents etc.Product and benefit confirmationContinuous member, HR, Union, and other educationOther medical aid related concerns or issuesBuild and maintain relationships with all stakeholdersPlanning monthly schedule:Refer to the yearly plan as a guide to set monthly/quarterly schedulesSend invitation to client with proposed date and time (visit +/- 2-3 hours depending on size of client), confirmed appointments form part of monthly scheduleEnsure all necessary information is available for visit, including tax certificates, membership certificates, outstanding feedback on queries, medicine bags and refills, etc.Distribute medicine bags and refills to members on the anniversary date of their employerRequests from employers, HR, Union to attend info sessions, mass meetings, union meetings, or inductions form part of monthly scheduleSubmit monthly schedule together with budget request to GM:CS for approval by the 25th of each monthBudget payments received by 1st of each monthSend notification of visit to HR and Union or send SMS to membersSubmit all travel claims by the 10th of each monthComplete all queries on daily work sheet and capture all interactions on Dashboard by the last working day of each monthCourtesy visit to HR/Payroll/Employer to get confirmation of site visit sign off and to confirm if there are any queries, issues, or concernsCourtesy visit to shop steward to confirm if there are any queries, issues, or concernsBusiness Review PlanningPrepare business review reports based on monthly reportPrepare for Area Manager meetings with Key Accounts Managers to report on key accounts to inform main account holderRemain abreast of what is happening in department and industryFacilitation of Wellness daysSend application for wellness day to clientConfirm dates and timesGet necessary promotional and marketing materialPreparation and setting upFacilitation of Soccer Tournaments and PR EventsSubmit request for approvalConfirm dates and timesGet necessary promotional and marketing materialPreparation and setting upOpen Period and Year End RevisionStart setting up dates for client visits to do YER after the Schemes benefit launchPrepare in conjunction with brokersRequest increased times from clientsSet up mass presentations and one-on-one sessionsNew BusinessFocus on growing the businessConduct presentation to prospective clientsFollow through to signing an employer agreementMiscellaneousQuarterly ordering of magazines for distribution to employers, members, doctors (GP's, Dentists, Optometrists), hospitalsWeekly administrationFollowing up on outstanding queriesLogging of queries onto DashboardResponding to emailsOffice maintenance as needed (supplies, cleaning and utensils)Requirements:MatricA tertiary qualification in business administration, or a related field.Additional certifications in customer relationship management, or related areas3-5 Years' work experience and understanding of Medical Aid or Healthcare Industry or experience in a similar role.Valid driver's license.Salary: Market relatedLocation: Northern Cape - KathuTo apply: Please send your updated CV to ****** be advised that you will be contacted by Medipath Healthcare Recruitment within 14 days should we wish to proceed with your application.
