You will be critical in managing significant customer accounts, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction from day one.Key ResponsibilitiesRelationship Management and Customer Service:Maintain productive relationships with all relevant stakeholders to support the company's strategic direction and departmental objectives.Strategic Objectives:Contribute to the development and implementation of customer strategies.Support the department's strategic direction and management to ensure maximum return on effort, investment, and sales.Provide input into retailer category strategy.Process Management:Support an appropriate and effective information management system.Implement, maintain, and improve standard operating procedures within the department in line with company procedures.Learning and Growth:Stay abreast of current trends within the operating environment and take accountability for personal development.Essential Functions•Develop and maintain existing and new business relationships.•Provide brand and category knowledge to customers.•Lead customer efforts in collaboration with other divisions within the company (Marketing, Trade Marketing, Strategy, Finance, Logistics, Operations, etc.).•Prepare and submit customer reviews.•Implement and action new listings, packaging revamps, and product changes.•Generate contact reports and ensure relevant follow-through.•Implement price increases and negotiate trading terms and advertising or ad-hoc spend.•Implement promotions and help maintain promotional grids.•Achieve budgets and targets by customers.•Contribute to short, medium, and long-term customer strategies.•Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, procedures, and accountability systems.•Develop and propose new solutions to complex business challenges.•Turn raw data into actionable conclusions using analytical tools and data systems.Qualifications•Tertiary qualification or recognised diploma/degree in Sales, Account Management, Category Management or similar.•Minimum of 5 years of experience in FMCG Key Account Management, dealing with buyers at Head Office level.•Ability to thrive in a highly pressurised industry.•Strong understanding of the FMCG/CPG or OTC/Pharmaceutical distribution model.•Strong analytical thinking and proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AI tools, etc.).•Strong leadership capabilities, strategic acumen, and negotiating skills.•Proficiency in English.What We OfferDynamic and Respectful Work Environment:We value every individual and encourage initiatives promoting agility and work/life balance.Continuous Learning and Development:We provide opportunities for personal and professional growth through formal training and regular mentorship.Recognition and Growth:Responsibilities from day one with the potential for rapid career progression based on performance.Why ACDOCO SA?ACDOCO SA is not just a distributor; we are a brand custodian with a proven track record of driving accelerated growth YOY.
