We are seeking a driven and experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) to join our dynamic team in (Lagos or Nairobi - MUST BE BASED IN COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE) .
In this crucial role, you will play a central role in driving sales of our technology skilling programs to key corporate clients within your designated territory.
Reporting to the Head of Sales - Technology Skilling (DR), you will build strong relationships, develop strategic account plans, and secure significant revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities - Identify and qualify high-potential leads within your assigned territory (Lagos or Nairobi).
- Develop deep relationships with key decision-makers at leading corporations, public, and private sector and colleges across various the assigned geography (country) - Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand client challenges and opportunities.
- Get bulk nominations and also craft customized solutions by recommending the most impactful technology skilling programs from our diverse portfolio.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition of our online courses.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring successful contract finalization.
- Manage and nurture existing client relationships through ongoing communication and account management strategies.
- Exceed assigned sales targets and quotas for your territory.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Customer Success) to ensure seamless client experience and program delivery.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and generate new leads.
Qualifications: - Minimum 10 years of demonstrably successful experience in B2B sales, preferably within the EdTech sector.
Currently should be selling online technology courses to the corporates - Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth.
- Extensive experience selling online technology courses or similar digital learning solutions to corporate clients in African markets.
- In-depth understanding of the corporate training landscape in [Lagos or Nairobi (specify location).
- Strong understanding of the latest trends and challenges in digital skills development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong, long-term relationships.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and analyze sales data.
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a results-oriented mindset.
- Experience working in a company similar to Digital Regenesys offering online technology courses in Africa is a significant advantage.
