Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Key Account Manager to manage and nurture relationships with key clients and support market growth efforts.
Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges.
Ensure accurate documentation, pricing, and stock information is provided to clients.
Facilitate timely provision of shipping and clearing documentation.
Assist with managing client credit limits and debtor accounts.
Order Management: Collaborate with the team leader to ensure efficient order processing.
Monitor labelling and special requirements for various orders.
Escalate significant issues to the Business Development Manager (BDM) as needed.
Reporting and Brand Development: Assist the BDM in creating supplier reports and providing market feedback.
Support brand development efforts to identify sales opportunities and increase revenue.
Monitor brand performance and recommend adjustments to achieve objectives.
Contract and Negotiation: Ensure shipping and payment terms are mutually beneficial.
Manage pricing, discounts, and service level agreements.
Administration: Handle diverse, fast-paced tasks with extreme attention to detail.
Perform strategic administrative duties and filter tasks effectively.
Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve client concerns promptly.
Develop preventive strategies to mitigate future issues.
Market and Industry Research: Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscapes.
Provide clients with relevant insights and solutions based on market knowledge.
Sales and Revenue Targets: Support the BDM in achieving sales and budget targets for assigned markets.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
