The Opportunity Roche Diagnostics in Midrand is seeking a passionate and results-driven Key Account Manager (Private and Public Sector) to lead the management of our key accounts in Diagnostics from end to end.

Key Challenges Stakeholder Engagement and Management * Build and maintain relationships with customers and industry stakeholders by participating in events, engaging with decision makers, and understanding market trends.
* Identify and analyze sales data trends at the portfolio level to provide strategic customer solutions and enhance product strategies based on customer needs.
* Maintain effective internal and external relationships by engaging with relevant departments and market players, aligning on strategies, and continuously updating industry knowledge.
Account Management/Customer Relationship Management * Develop and implement account and portfolio strategies by understanding customer requirements, working with marketing, and securing new and existing clients.
* Identify sales opportunities through customer engagement, analysis, proposal development, and presenting monthly or as needed, while also implementing campaigns in collaboration with Product Managers.
* Respond to sales queries, report on sales performance, achieve sales targets, administer the sales process through CRM, participate in global and EMEA working groups, and support regional account managers with key decision-makers.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Data * Maintain and update accurate customer data in the CRM tool, ensuring all activities are logged and performance trends are analyzed.
* Develop growth strategies focusing on financial gain and customer satisfaction by identifying business strengths and customer needs, conducting market research, and expanding income streams.
* Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers, provide feedback and after-sales support, and keep precise records of sales, revenue, and invoices.
Project Management / Workflow analysis * Monitor and report on implementation of projects by monitoring project progress and change management, identifying areas of concern, engaging with key internal and external partners and facilitating and advising on corrective action to be implemented.
* Ientify opportunities for customer operational efficiency improvements Sales Opportunities Creation * Ensure a continuous feed of the sales funnel pipeline as per opportunities identified and track and monitor the opportunity pipeline to ensure success.
* Understand win/loss opportunities and potential reasons in order to provide needed improvements.
* Ensure collaboration across all departments by reviewing bluesheets regularly.
Who You Are as an Ideal Candidate * Undergraduate NQF 7 qualification in Medical Science or similar.
A Business Management qualification is an advantage.
* 5-7 years' experience in a commercial experience in the medical industry and 3 years account management experience.
Experience in the IVD industry is a distinct advantage.
