Key responsibilities / accountabilities: Serve as the primary liaison between internal & external stakeholders, clients and the Takealot Advertising team.Create advertising proposals to drive strategic objectivesGenerate campaign cost estimates (CEs) and oversee the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial transactions.Generate regular performance reports, analyse data trends, and provide actionable insights to clients for informed decision-making.Collaborate with various creative, analytics, and campaign management teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and alignment with client objectives.Provide actionable, insightful reporting to Advertisers with suggestions for future campaignsAchieve and exceed advertising revenue targetsIdentify opportunities to improve the experience of the advertiserQualifications and experience: Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Marketing, Advertising or Media, if the Degree/Advanced Diploma qualification requirement isn't met, 6+ years' experience in a digital/advertising account management role in digital marketing, advertising or similar environment with Matric/Diploma.Minimum 5 years Advertising Account Management experience or 3 years Digital Account Management experience.Experience in advertising and media sales.Strong knowledge of the Digital Advertising & e-commerce landscape.Skills, knowledge and abilities: Enthusiasm for being a part of an entrepreneurial, start-up environment Ability to work independently to achieve sales targetsAbility to identify key advertising sales opportunities and translate these into implementable solutions and action plans Demonstrated success in managing client relationships, with the ability to understand client goals and communicate effectively. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and build rapport with clients and internal teams. Proven track record of collaborating across different departments or teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and alignment with client objectives. Familiarity with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital marketing to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
