Accountabilities & Responsibilities To visit and promote Alistair Group to clients headquartered in Asia and in AfricaFinding ways to make our clients' businesses work better, enhancing the customer experience with clear communication and innovative solutionsWinning profitable new work for Alistair GroupUnderstanding client needs and problems and providing solutions using Alistair Group's current and potential resources, including working with the Technology Team to develop tech-driven solutions and interfaces for our Mandarin-speaking clientsIdentifying new projects and strategic areas in which we should investInputting in the long term Group strategy and developmentDemonstrating a rational awareness of pricing and quoting accordinglyEducation, Skills & Competencies A minimum of University Graduate Degree in any relevant discipline (business / economics / logistics / mining / supply chain)Native Mandarin speaker (essential) & English (advanced)Customer Service experience (essential)Logistics and/or mining sectors in Southern Africa (preferred) experienceEntrepreneurial mindset; Problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong leadership skillsWhat we're offering: A competitive remuneration package with an upside in the form of incentives and bonusesDynamic culture with room for creativity and self-expressionInsights into the operations of a high-growth, innovative start-up company21 leave days per annumWorking hours - Monday to Friday plus alternate Saturday morningsRegional travel as required (DRC, Tanzania, Zambia, etc.)Working hours
