Junior Video Editor

Tomorrow have partnered with an independent edit house, full of creatives based in East London who are looking for a talented Assistant Editor to join their dynamic, in-house post-production team.
This position offers a great opportunity to work on a diverse and exciting range projects and contribute significantly to the final product.
About you:
Creative flair, a showreel showing your favourite projects and showcasing a variety of skills.Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere and a solid understanding of Adobe After Effects. Knowledge of Avid Media Composer and DaVinci Resolve would be beneficial.Experience working on short-form edits, ideally within fashion or beauty/lifestyle.Working closely with the wider team, the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Experience in an established post-house team a bonus.Key Responsibilities:
Preliminary selections of shots and sequences to help the editing process run smoothly.Jumping on edits during various projects, learning and working with senior editors as you go.Demonstrate good operational knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Media Encoder, with familiarity with Adobe After Effects. Knowledge of Davinci & Avid is a bonus.Conduct reviews of edits before final handover to ensure they are error-free.Efficiently sync and organise raw footage for editing.Sound editing skills, with sound & footage sourcing.Desire to continue learning advanced organisation techniques and improving editing skills on the go.Strong understanding project pipelines and meeting deadlines.We are passionate about promoting diversity, inclusion, and equality, and are committed to working with clients who share our outlook.
