Understanding of accounting systems Responsibilities: Overview: This role involves verifying the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) Status of small, medium, and large companies, including JSE-listed and multinational organizations Perform BBBEE verifications in accordance with the DTIs BBBEE Codes of Good Practice, sector codes, and the companys verification methodology. Conduct client kick-off meetings independently and foster client relationships. Interpret, verify, and effectively communicate all elements of the BBBEE scorecard, excluding complex ownership structures. Prepare comprehensive and high-quality verification files and finalize results. Present findings to client teams of up to 8 people. Address objections, manage challenging questions, and navigate conflict situations. Provide expert responses to client inquiries regarding B-BBEE verification and implementation issues.
