Role Overview Our client is looking for a Junior Underwriter to join their Underwriting team.
This role is suited for a new or recent graduate with a background in accounting or finance.. You will assist the Underwriting (UW) team by preparing deals for underwriting and conducting preliminary reviews, which include researching companies and reviewing credit reports.
Key Responsibilities Assist the underwriting team in preparing deals for underwriting Conduct preliminary reviews of potential clients, including company research and reviewing credit reports Support the UW team in maintaining accurate records and documentation Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth deal progression Stay informed on industry trends and financial developments Requirements Degree in Business / Finance / Accounting Strong academic background Excellent research and analytical skills Ability to work well within a team Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing financial data Proactive mindset and willingness to learn
