Our company in Durbanville, Cape Town is looking for a Hybrik UI Designer to join their team.
You will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other Designers to create intuitive, visually compelling, and efficient interfaces for their logistics platform.
You will play a key role in enhancing the usability and aesthetic appeal of their products, balancing user needs with business goals.
You may also be responsible for assisting with the rebranding of the company and creating comprehensive brand guides from time to time.Responsibilities:?
Design visually engaging user interfaces for our web and mobile platforms, aligning with the brand's design language and user needs.?
Work closely with UX designers to translate wireframes, prototypes, and user feedback into polished UI designs.
Come up with design ideas, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes.?
Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration and implementation of UI designs.?
Participate in the design and iteration process, contributing ideas and advocating for user-centered design principles.?
Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to ensure quality and consistency across all design assets.?
Assist in maintaining and evolving the UI component library and design system to ensure consistency across the platform.?
Assist with the rebranding project of the business by making new brand elements and rules.?
Stay updated with design trends, tools, and technologies relevant to UI and the logistics industry.Qualifications:?
Experience: 2+ years of experience in UI design, preferably with experience in the logistics or tech industry.?
Skills: Proficient in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
Knowledge of prototyping tools is a plus.?
Understanding: Solid grasp of responsive design principles and best practices for web and mobile interfaces.?
Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing UI designs that demonstrate a keen eye for aesthetics and an understanding of user-centered design.?
Collaboration: Ability to communicate and collaborate effectivelyacross departments.?
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a focus on creating polished, professional UI designs.?
Problem-Solving: Ability to balance design innovation with business and user needs, providing solutions that are practical and efficient.Preferred Skills:?
