Junior Technical Buyer

Purpose of this role:
To support the procurement of technical goods and services effectively and efficiently, ensuring that the organisation's production and operational needs are met through timely, cost-effective, and quality-conscious purchasing activities.
Position: Junior Technical Buyer Industry: Manufacturing Location: Midrand - Gauteng Salary: Market related Qualifications and Experience: N/DIP Procurement Management or CIPS Level 6 or similar.Minimum of 2-year procurement experience within a Manufacturing environment in the automotive / military & defence industry.Key performance areas: Ensure Timely Procurement: Assist in procuring materials and components required for production and operations.Track and monitor order status to ensure on-time delivery.Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure all purchased goods meet the required technical specifications and quality standards.Cost Efficiency: Assist in obtaining competitive quotations and negotiating favourable terms with suppliers.Support cost-saving initiatives and contribute to budget management.Supplier Management: Help identify and evaluate potential suppliers.Develop and maintain effective supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply chains.Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.Ensure procurement activities comply with organizational policies and procedures.To apply please send your CV to: ******
