Junior Technical Buyer

Position: Junior Technical Buyer Industry: Manufacturing Location: Midrand - Gauteng Salary: Market related Qualifications and Experience: N/DIP Procurement Management or CIPS Level 6 or similar. Minimum of 2-year procurement experience within a Manufacturing environment in the automotive / military & defence industry. Key performance areas: Ensure Timely Procurement: Assist in procuring materials and components required for production and operations. Track and monitor order status to ensure on-time delivery. Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure all purchased goods meet the required technical specifications and quality standards. Cost Efficiency: Assist in obtaining competitive quotations and negotiating favourable terms with suppliers. Support cost-saving initiatives and contribute to budget management. Supplier Management: Help identify and evaluate potential suppliers. Develop and maintain effective supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply chains. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation. Ensure procurement activities comply with organizational policies and procedures.
