Junior Technical Buyer

Position: Junior Technical Buyer Industry: ManufacturingLocation: Midrand - GautengSalary: Market related Qualifications and Experience:N/DIP Procurement Management or CIPS Level 6 or similar.Minimum of 2-year procurement experience within a Manufacturing environment in the automotive / military & defence industry. Key performance areas:Ensure Timely Procurement:Assist in procuring materials and components required for production and operations.Track and monitor order status to ensure on-time delivery. Maintain Quality Standards:Ensure all purchased goods meet the required technical specifications and quality standards. Cost Efficiency:Assist in obtaining competitive quotations and negotiating favourable terms with suppliers.Support cost-saving initiatives and contribute to budget management. Supplier Management:Help identify and evaluate potential suppliers.Develop and maintain effective supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply chains. Documentation and Compliance:Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.Ensure procurement activities comply with organizational policies and procedures.
