Junior Systems Engineer

Experience in the design, development, and implementation of information systems and networks.Experience with information systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices.Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.Good project management skills.Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required.Mastery of M365 with entry-level skills in Azure Cloud Computing, VMWare, and VeeamAn understanding of M365 Mail Exchange Online and Mimecast securing email systems for email spam filtering will be beneficial.An understanding of Device Management tools such as Intune, AutoPilot, and SCCMExperience in identifying vulnerabilities and configuring systems to enhance endpoint security posture.Knowledge of coding languages for scripting will be advantageous (e.g. Powershell)Qualifications required:The Junior Systems Engineer must have at least 3 - 5 years of system engineering experience, with the following qualifications:Tertiary qualification in IT, or Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field highly desirableIndustry certification to Microsoft Azure/365 Administrator Associate or equivalent.Personal attributesExcellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.Strong customer service orientation.
