Junior Structural Engineer

We have an exciting position for a Junior Structural Engineer.
Are you passionate about Structural Engineering and a self-motivated individual who can work well with minimal supervision, attention to detail, take initiative, work individually and in a team, then we have the perfect work opportunity for you.
Our Structural Engineering firm is looking to appoint two Junior to mid-level Structural Engineers, One to each of our offices in Somerset West and Bellville Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering Some experience in Civil or Structural Engineering will be advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Some site Experience will be advantageous Client focused.
Self-motivated.
Passionate about Engineering.
Responsibilities Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis Perform construction related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspections Collaborate with architects, designers, clients and building contractors on design and construction of projects Site visits/inspections What we offer: Experience, lots of training by passionate engineers who loves sharing their knowledge and building the next generation of engineers responsible for solving real world problems and making a tangible difference in our world.
