Junior Structural Engineer

Hire Resolve is on the lookout for a talented Junior Structural Engineer to join a prominent Civil Engineering firm in their Johannesburg office. The ideal candidate will contribute to exciting projects in various sectors including industrial, commercial, and residential.
Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in the design of structures using software tools and manual calculations.
Collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure project requirements are met.
Creating detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
Conducting site inspections to gather data and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Supporting senior engineers in project execution and documentation.
Staying updated with current engineering trends and technologies.

Requirements:

BSc in Civil Engineering or related field.
A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
Fluent in Afrikaans.
Familiarity with CAD software and structural analysis programs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A passion for engineering and continuous learning is essential.
