Managed People Solutions is looking to hire a Junior Stock Co-ordinator for a very well-known Liquor Company based in Cape TownJob PurposeThe Junior Stock Co-Ordinator is responsible for daily management of inventory levels within their specified junior portfolio to ensure stock level management on a national level. This role will be accountable for planning and executing stock control as per stock planning report, sales report and actual sales.Responsibilities Under supervision - plan, organize, direct, manage and evaluate the inventory management activities.Assist with the development and communication of policies and procedures for inventory managementEnsure adherence to corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures related to inventory management operations.Monitor inventory levels and inventory movements, review inventory reports (quantity, product, stock on hand, exceptions, etc.).Monitor overall stock levels and escalate overstock/under-stock situations. This will require high level forecasting reviews including historical and future sales data. Work across departments to co-ordinate forecast and supply plans.Conduct investigations into inventory management incidents in order to verify and resolve complaints.Confer with other department management and staff to coordinate inventory management activities and improve performance and productivity.Complete Purchase Orders and issue to suppliers.Agree on delivery time frames and methods.Requirements Grade 12BSc in supply chain management, logistics or business administration.3 years' experience within procurement and stock management.Closing Date 10 August 2022Please do not apply for the position if you do not meet the requirements Should you not receive any feedback within 2 weeks after the closing date, please consider your application unsuccessful
