Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Sports Social Media Manager and Content Creator to elevate our sports brand's digital presence. This role is ideal for someone with a deep passion for sports, digital storytelling, and engaging sports fan communities. Responsibilities: - Execute social media strategies that reflects our brand's vision and the excitement of the sports we cover.
- Create and publish engaging, sports-related content on all social media platforms
- Ensure that all articles are scheduled and shared in a timely manner
- Collaborate with Sales and production teams to drive campaigns and sponsorships.
- Engage actively with followers across platforms to foster a strong community.
- Monitor analytics to identify viable ideas, assess performance, and optimize content.
- Stay current with sports events, trends, and fan sentiments to ensure timely and relevant content.
Requirements: - Proven experience as a Social Media Manager with a focus on sports.
- Experience creating multi-format content (text, image, video) relevant to various sports.
- Strong understanding of sports analytics, fan engagement strategies, and brand building.
- Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of WordPress Websites
- Proficiency in using social media analytics tools and capable of translating insights into action.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, particularly on game days and during sports seasons.
- Diploma/Degree in Communications, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field is preferred.
