If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love building relationships, and are eager to contribute to the growth of a vibrant company, we want to hear from you.Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesSales and Promotions:Service all customers, both new and existing, within your specific retail groups.Present and promote products, offering support to ensure the maintenance of sales and increased market share.Conduct product demonstrations to educate retail staff on product knowledge, features, benefits, and usage.Provide training to retail staff on sales techniques and merchandising best practices.Merchandising:Ensure that each product is prominently displayed and well-stocked to create an attractive and inviting retail environment.Assist with display concepts where necessary.Manage planogram changes in accordance with promotional grids as predetermined by advertising principles.Report to head office on slower-selling products based on stock-on-hand reports and propose promotions or specials to increase turnover.RequirementsMatric/Grade 12.Certificate or diploma in sales, marketing, merchandising, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).Prior experience in the vet/pet industry or working with pet-related products is highly advantageous.A genuine love for animals or being a pet lover is essential.Flexibility to travel is essential, as the role involves visiting and servicing multiple stores across Gauteng and surrounding areas in a field sales capacity.Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.Bilingual: English and Afrikaans.Valid driver's licence with reliable transport.Good written and verbal communication skills.Flexibility to work outside regular business hours for in-store promotions or events.
