Junior Quantity Surveyor

ResponsibilitiesEstimating Costs: Collaborate with senior Quantity Surveyors to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects.Materials Estimation: Analyze architectural plans and determine the quantity and costs of materials required.Contract Management: Assist in negotiating and analyzing contracts related to construction work.Project Cost Tracking: Monitor changes in plans or construction progress, updating budgets accordingly.Document Preparation: Prepare contracts, documents, and progress reports.Compliance and Safety: Ensure that construction work adheres to legal requirements and safety regulations.Budget Management: Set budgets for payments, inventory needs, and materials.Liaison: Act as a liaison between clients and site managers/engineers.QualificationsBachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role.Strong understanding of construction costs and contracts.Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder engagements.Detail-oriented and deeply organized.
