A specialist market research firm, based in Johannesburg, is seeking to employ Junior Property Analyst & Researcher with solid geospatial / GIS analytics skills on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for putting together specialist market feasibility reports with accompanying demand forecast models across a wide variety of property uses/assets. You will join a specialised spatial research business that undertake Demographic Feasibility Studies, Site Evaluations, Gap Analysis, Customer Data Analysis, Shopping Centre Research, etc.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of various real estate asset classes, able to interpret various economic, demographic and property data to make informed recommendations to clients. Strong competency in Esri ArcGIS will be beneficial.
Focus Collect, analyse, interrogate and interpret data in line with applicable methodologies and standards.Work with Senior Associates to conduct relevant market feasibilities and reports.Delivery of assigned projects in line with specific Key Performance Indicator parameters (time, quality, cost, value).Type of Projects / Reports Property Feasibility Reports (Mixed-Use, Residential, Industrial, Hospitality, Education, Medical etc.).Benchmarking and Gap Analysis.Bespoke research reports.Key Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Planning, Property, Business, GIS or a related field is required.At least 1 year experience working in the property consulting sector preferred.ESRI ArcGIS Online knowledge and application preferred.High proficiency with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented work environment.Previous exposure to feasibility studies will be beneficial.Statistics, Geo Information Science (GIS) experience will be beneficial.Keywords GIS, Dashboaring, Apps, Tech, Spatial Analysis, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Dashboarding, Data Integration, Automation, Feasibility Studies, Market Analysis, Town & Urban Planning, Property, Built Environment
