Junior Project Planner

OVERVIEW / PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Junior Project Planner will report to the specific project manager in a line management structure and to the planning manager in a functional reporting matrix. The project planner will be responsible for developing proposal and study schedules and manage the project deliverables against the approved baseline schedule. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, maintain, review, and manage proposal and study schedules.Prepare, issue and maintain updated planned vs. actual progress curves.Develop the work breakdown structure (WBS) in collaboration with the project team.Develop the basis of schedule (BoS) and / or schedule management plan (SMP) for approval by the PM.Weekly and monthly schedule reportsReport writing and presentations for management review.Participate in project meetings and discussions with the project team as required. Good attention to detail, methodical and must have a systematic approach to work.REQUIREMENTS: QUALIFICATIONRelevant Primavera P6 Professional Advance Rel 17 or higher (Oracle University Certification advantageous but not required)Relevant MS Projects certification (advantageous but not required)EXPERIENCE Minimum 2 years' experience as a planner on EPCM engineering projects
