Junior Project Engineer

The Client specialises in industrial and commercial end-to-end heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
They are based in Cape Town and looking for a Junior Project Engineer with the opportunity to grow in the business.
Requirements Driver's LicenseSouth African CitizenUndergrad degree with post graduate studies advantageous (Mechanical Engineer)No working experience required, but Engineering design, Construction management experience will be advantageous.Duties Managing technical aspects on multiple HVAC projects (design and implementation)Managing technical design and implementation on large HVAC applicationsEstimation and cost control, assisting in project tendering and costingDrive deadline achievement on all projectsManage technical staff and contractorsProject reporting to managementTechnical submittals as part of project approval processesMaintain change management logs and variation ordersNotify builder and relevant parties of any delaysProtect the company from potential penalties by actively managing the programInform Directors of any issues on site which need immediate attentionManaging the claim process, including verification of certificates and claim queriesShould you not receive feedback within 2 weeks, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
