Our client is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Junior Producer who can discover amazing characters on TikTok to feature across multiple platforms.
You know exactly how to engage Gen Z viewers, and we have a special preference for candidates with Snapchat publishing experience.
Job Summary:  As a Junior Producer, you'll identify trending conversations on topics like mental health, body positivity, and other youth cultural moments.
You should also understand key U.S. school and college calendar events, such as spring break and prom season, to create relevant programming.
Requirement:  Journalism experience with proven editorial and fact-checking abilities.
Previous experience in content production for Snapchat with a deep understanding of the platform.
A self-driven work ethic with strong organisational skills to manage multiple shows and deadlines remotely.
Experience with scripting for social media platforms, data analytics, and insights to inspire new story ideas.
Basic video editing skills are a plus.
Responsibilities:  Publish and curate content for 10 Snapchat shows, ensuring it resonates with a the younger audience.
Stay informed about trends relevant to Gen Z culture, responding quickly to shifts.
Understand key moments in the U.S. school and college calendar to create relevant programming (spring break, prom season, etc.).
Work independently in a remote role, managing your own hours and focusing on output and performance.
Help ensure Snapchat shows are cash flow positive by understanding revenue generation through viral video publishing.
Collaborate with citizen storytellers to remotely direct their narratives and bring impactful stories to life.
