Job Title: Junior Procurement OfficerLocation: Centurion - HennopsparkSalary: Market relatedVacancy Type: Full-TimeClosing date: End Sept 2024 Duties and responsibilities:Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers.Purchase Orders: Prepare and track purchase orders to ensure accuracy and timely processing.Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and assist in forecasting purchasing needs.Cost Analysis: Assist in analyzing costs and negotiating supplier prices.Compliance: Ensure procurement activities follow company policies and regulations.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts and invoices.Support: Provide administrative support to senior procurement staff.Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:Education: Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience: Previous experience in procurement or supply chain.Beneficial requirements:Skills:Strong organizational and time management abilities.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Attention to detail and accuracy.Personal Attributes: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
