Junior Permit Officer (Compliance and Recon) – Sasol Secunda Reporting to: Team Lead Financial The main purpose of the position is to provide an administrative service to the financial function of the Security division and to ensure that the Client's as well as the Operations needs are always efficiently and professionally met. The main focus will be on compliance and recon.
Job requirements: Qualifications and expertise required: Grade 12/MatricA Financial Diploma/Degree will be advantageous.2 to 3 years Administrative/Financial experienceDriver's License with proven driving experienceMS Office/Computer literacySAP PtP experienceShould reside in the Secunda area/Willing to relocate at own cost.Job specific experience required: Maintain an accurate Master compliance file (service provider personnel).Updating and distribution of control documentsRecording of deviations to approved deployment/matrixTaking notes/minutes of meetings/compiling the necessary documentationEffective handling and managing of enquiriesEffective office administrationLiaison with other business units and service providersProvide admin support to Security departmentDocument handling and management, including the typing of documentsHandling of sensitive/confidential informationAlways promote a positive image of the companyMaintain an effective follow-up systemAdminister and maintain records managementFunctional competencies: Excellent communication skillsPrioritising and control of workloadMust be able to communicate, liaise and work with all levels, internally and externallyNetwork with the rest of the team and other stakeholdersDevelop and maintain effective relationships (internally and externally)Maintain a good follow-up and office administrative systemMust be able to work under pressure and meet deadlinesDetail orientation/Accuracy and attention to detailProblem-solving skillsProficient written and verbal communication in EnglishEffective time and office managementSound administrative skillsAptitude for working with customersPerson attributes: Sense of urgency and able to work under pressureAssertiveness/DecisivenessCreativityResilienceEnthusiasmCooperativenessSelf-disciplineTeam PlayerSelf-StarterAbility to work independentlyProfessionalismStrong customer-centric orientationTime management skillsHigh ethical standards and IntegrityAdvanced administrative skillsEffective report and record keepingGood verbal and written communication skillsThe ability to work under pressureCommitment and ownershipProven track record of high performanceTelephone and e-mail etiquetteProactive and flexible
