Junior Payroll Controller

Job Advert Summary
Eduvos is looking to employ a Junior Payroll Controller on a permanent basis at our Midrand campus. Type of role: Permanent Purpose of the role: To ensure accurate and timeous payments to employees; to administer employee benefits; and to process statutory payroll-related payments.
Minimum Requirements

Relevant bachelors degree
Working knowledge of People Sage 300

Duties and Responsibilities

Facilitate, capture and verify weekly and monthly HR and payroll related movements / changes spreadsheet (e.g., new employees, termination, increases, once off claims bonuses, ICA claims, overtime, tax corrections, -maternity changes etc.)
VIP administration
Compile payroll reports for salary release sign-off
Distribute pay slips
Create payment file and load on bank, and facilitate timeous release
1st level payroll related issue resolution
Administer 3rd party payment process
Benefit administration on Payroll
Union membership administration
SARS payroll related administration
SARS related support to employees with penalties
Maternity leave and exit management
UIF administration and employee support
Supply Regular Reports for HR and Business on request
