The Junior Payroll Administrator will Support the payroll teams in the provision of a high-quality client service, producing service deliverables for a portfolio of clients. Part of the responsibilities include the preparation of data, assisting in payroll client administration, acting as the day-to-day client contact for the provision of those services, to meet stakeholders' and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to: Responsible for input accurate information into the payroll systemSupport clients with service delivery mattersPreparing client work in accordance with terms agreed uponEscalating issues to the senior members of the team as and when necessaryProviding support to senior members of the team as and when requiredResponding to stakeholders in a timely manner with accurate informationAttending client meetings as and when necessaryEnsuring all deadlines are metLiaising with Tax Authorities (SARS)Prepare and submit approved returns, submissions, accounts, and reportsAttending client meetings as and when requiredAssisting with the EMP501 reconciliationWhen necessary, advising clients about local legislatureSupporting in the preparation of reportsIdentifies errors, report them, and raise concerns with the relevant managerAssisting in the preparation of documentation for Audits.About you The ideal incumbent should have payroll administration experience, be able to effectively manage stakeholders and a team player. A willingness to support with current knowledge and an eagerness to learn shall ensure that the candidate is highly successful in the current role.
Ideally, you are meeting following hiring criteria: Payroll Diploma, Finance Diploma or Finance Degree1 to 2 years' experience in the payroll functionBookkeeping or finance administration background is idealUnderstanding basic payroll principalsShould be able to do Vlookups, Pivots and IF Statements on excelSage 300 experience is mandatoryDetail orientatedStrong written and communication skillsBe able effectively manage stakeholdersGood organizational and time management skillsWhat's in it for you?
