Junior Operations Assistant

Job Opportunity: Junior Operations Assistant Location: Umhlanga Job Functions: Receiving & confirming fuel orders. Consulting with transports for documentation and processing. Processing documentation in the Operations department and for contractors, including ordering lifting slips (Cash, Terms & COC). Controlling and planning the delivery/load schedule. Data capturing for all processing in the operations department. Controlling and monitoring deliveries nationally. Addressing client queries. Requirements: Matric (with Maths and Accounting). 2-3 years of administration experience in the road freight industry. 2-3 years of experience with electronic processing systems (experience with SAP, Pastel, or other systems is advantageous). 2-3 years of knowledge in the petroleum industry (fueling on road and bulk). Understanding the impact of your role on service delivery to both internal and external customers with a strong customer service mindset. Ability to work flexible hours in line with business requirements, including alternate weekends. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Reliable transport.
