This is a great opportunity for a candidate who has a tertiary qualification and 1-3 years' experience in fintech, tech, consulting or advisory to join Ozow's Operations team as a Junior Operations & Strategy Analyst. You will play a pivotal role in aligning strategic initiatives with operational processes, while providing valuable commercial and strategic insights that will support the company's continued growth.In this role, you'll work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment alongside a team of driven and talented professionals who are passionate about innovation in fintech. You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to high-impact projects, collaborate across departments, and contribute to strategic initiatives that directly influence Ozow's future direction.ResponsibilitiesMarket and competitive research: Conduct desktop research to identify market trends, and new growth opportunities. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.Business case development: Assist in the development of business cases that evaluate the feasibility and impact of new products, services, or market expansions.Data analysis & reporting: Gather, analyse, and interpret large data sets to support key strategic decision-making. Provide clear and actionable formats for stakeholder review.Process improvement: Work closely with the Operations team to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in current processes. Recommend and help implement solutions to streamline operations and improve overall business performance.Stakeholder communication: Prepare high-quality presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that complex insights are communicated in a clear and concise manner.QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Science, Finance, Commerce, Science or a related field.1-3 years of relevant experience in fintech, tech, consulting/advisory services, or related industries.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Power BI and PowerPoint as a plus.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.A holistic outlook with the ability to combine quantitative information with qualitative research.High attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.A proactive and innovative mindset with a sense of urgency.An interest in technology and innovation.Comfort in adapting to new tools and systems.An adaptable demeanor with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.Hiring organization: Ozow is the future of payment as we know it.
