Primary Responsibilities for the Role Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Opera Reports (Oracle Report Builder , Oracle BI Publisher and Oracle Reports and Analytics) and Data exports at Customer sites. Responsible for providing professional training and knowledge transfer to the customer according to the scope of work. Actively supports the customer in all aspects through case resolution, keeping the customer informed and updated throughout life cycle of the case. Maintains historical records by documenting changes and revisions. Comply with support schedule adherence to ensure overall service level targets are achieved Project Implementation Meet with the Project Manager before commencement of an installation to be briefed on any special requirements and to collect all required documentation (airline tickets, visas, pre-installation packs, sign-off documents, licensing & support agreements, etc…). Hold telephonic meetings with Project Managers or via electronic mail or MS Teams. Travel to customer sites. Install the assigned products to the requirements and satisfaction of the customer and Management. If you are assigned a Project, the Opera Report Writer will co-ordinate all aspects of the installation as required. The Opera Report Writer will ensure to the best of his/her ability that each project will be completed within schedule. Conduct project sign-off meetings with the customer, during which the sign-off documentation is completed. Liaise with customer and manage each installation, training, refresher training, site visit or any other dealings that the company deems fit. Complete all sign off documentation and time sheets before leaving site after project completion. The Opera Report Writer will not leave site if any outstanding issues are not resolved without explicit permission from Management. The Opera Report Writer will arrange a handover meeting with the project manager upon returning from a customer site, during which the project manager will be briefed on all aspects of the installation. Create a copy of each customer latest stationery and store it at the Adapt IT offices. Any major changes onsite to be communicated to the customer and Project Manager in writing. Produce training materials as required from time to time. Stay up to date with Oracle GLP's training. Each Opera Report Writer is required to support the products assigned . All support calls are to be logged on CRM and updated when assigned to support duty. Opera Report Writer to have access to the UAT to test and troubleshoot new versions prior to release.
Minimum requirements Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements University Degree in Hospitality Field or similar At least 1 year of relevant working experience Proficiency in Basic SQL Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Requirements and skills Proven knowledge in Oracle Hospitality Property Management System (PMS) products (Opera PMS and Opera Cloud) Good knowledge in OS and software deployment
