Purpose of the jobTo assist the Section Mine Surveyor with survey activities underground and surface and manage survey subordinates.Main Role OutcomesUse of applicable surveying equipmentUse of applicable surveying techniquesUse and knowledge of CAD systemsUse applicable administrative systems (Microsoft Office)Month end measurements and calculationsInstallation of survey pegs, direction lines and grade elevations pegsComplete surveying exercises with relevant checksRender a professional customer serviceManage subordinates on a daily basisTrain, mentor, coach and develop subordinatesMinimum RequirementsGrade 12 qualification with Mathematics and Physical ScienceChamber of Mines (C.O.M) Elementary Survey CertificateC.O.M.
