Overview: We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and results-driven Junior Marketing Specialist with excellent interpersonal skills to join our Shared Services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing marketing and branding efforts, designing and implementing effective strategies, creating relevant and compelling content, and ensuring brand consistency across the Trade Ocean Group.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, possess a strong understanding of various digital and traditional marketing channels suited to the logistics and maritime industry, and have the ability to think creatively. The Junior Marketing Specialist will also be responsible for creating, implementing, and coordinating specialized marketing campaigns while driving collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Brand Management, Communications, Business Management, or a related field relevant to this position. 0-1 years of experience in marketing, brand management, or a related field (internships or entry-level positions are acceptable). Job Responsibilities: Conduct market research to identify target audiences, analyze logistics and maritime market trends, monitor competitor activities, and identify opportunities for growth. Assist in the creation, implementation, and execution of marketing campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness and generating leads across digital, social media, website, and offline platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and effective execution of marketing initiatives. Develop, maintain, and ensure adherence to brand guidelines, ensuring a consistent brand voice, image, and messaging across all communication channels throughout the Group. Create and manage engaging content for various platforms, including websites, news blogs, educational resources, social media, and print materials. Support the planning, organization, and execution of promotional events, trade shows, and other marketing activities. Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and brand initiatives, using marketing metrics to assess effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. Handle administrative tasks, including maintaining marketing databases, managing brand assets, and coordinating meetings to support overall marketing operations and meet company strategy. Key Attributes: Strong understanding of branding principles and marketing strategies. Knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, and analytics tools. Familiarity of traditional or offline marketing channels. Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, including social media management tools, email marketing software, websites, and content management systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including copywriting, with the ability to tell a compelling story. Creative thinker with the ability to initiate new ideas and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with the logistics and supply chain industry is an advantage. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights. The ability to demonstrate ROI on digital marketing efforts.
