Responsible for the management and control of a total plant area in the Foundry environmentManagement of plant availability, planned and breakdown maintenance, roll-out and sustaining of the reliability engineering program, implementation of engineering projects, cost management and CI opportunitiesManagement and coordination of Capex projects, internal and externalContract implementation and management of services required2.7A responsibilities and ensure compliance to legal requirementsManagement and development of peopleManagement of SHERQ within the team Qualification: B-Eng. Degree (NQF 8/10) Preferably a structured Junior Management Development Program Experience and Requirements: Minimum 5 years experience in Steel Making, Engineering, Fabrication or Ferrous Foundry environment.Knowledge of the Foundry and heavy engineering markets and their requirements would ba an advantage but not essentialManagement experience in production and maintenanceExperience in the management of large engineering projects with clientsConfident with the use and implementation of safety and legislative systems, OHSAS 18000, ISO 14000 and ISO 9001 management systems2.7 AppointeeKnowledge of the environmental legislation Personal Attributes: Customer orientatedAbility to strategize from a business, marketing and operational point of viewChange management and project managementCommunication skills, facilitation skills, analytical thinking and negotiation skillsPositive, pro-active and performance drivenAbility to function effectively under stressAbility to work independently and collaboratively
