Junior Management Accountant

We are looking for an ambitious Junior Management Accountant who is currently studying towards their CIMA qualification.
This is an exciting opportunity to grow your skills and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic finance team, contributing to the financial success of the business.Key Responsibilities:Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, including detailed analysis of revenue, costs, and profitability.Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, helping to track performance against business targets.Provide analysis of variance reports, identifying key trends and variances to guide decision-making.Assist with the preparation of financial reports and commentary for management, ensuring they are delivered on time and with accuracy.Help monitor cost controls and conduct cost-benefit analyses to support operational efficiency.Work closely with senior management accountants to provide financial insights and support various business projects.Assist with month-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.Contribute to the development of financial models to forecast business performance.Stay up-to-date with CIMA studies and apply new knowledge to improve financial processes.Qualifications:Currently studying towards a CIMA qualification.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.This role is perfect for someone looking to develop their career as a Management Accountant while gaining practical experience to complement their CIMA studies.
