Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and skilled Junior Maintenance professional to join a luxury property team. If you have a diploma in maintenance or trades, a hands-on approach, and experience in hospitality maintenance, we want to hear from you!
What's the role about? As the Junior Maintenance Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the property runs smoothly. Your expertise in various maintenance systems will help keep the lodge in pristine condition, making it a welcoming space for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair electrical systems, generators, solar, plumbing, air-conditioning, and more.
Ensure proper functioning of facilities, including refrigerators, gas heating appliances, and pools & jacuzzis.
Conduct regular property and vehicle maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency.
Train and mentor maintenance assistants to build a strong team.
Adapt and respond to changes and challenges as they arise.
What are we looking for?
Experience: At least 2 years in hospitality maintenance (lodges, camps, hotels).
Qualifications: Diploma in maintenance/trades or equivalent.
Skills: Proficient in a wide range of maintenance systems and power tools.
Personal Traits: Hardworking, mature, fit, and physically able with sober habits.
Communication: Good communication skills to collaborate effectively.
Driving: MUST have a valid driver's license, tractor driving, and 4x4 experience.
Transport: Must have own reliable transport.
