Junior Litigation Attorney - Boutique Law Firm - Pretoria East

Our client is a dynamic law firm specializing in commercial litigation, particularly within the automotive industry.
They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Litigation Attorney to join their growing team.
The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of commercial litigation, with a focus on matters related to vehicle dealerships.
You will be responsible for handling a variety of cases, with significant opportunities for court appearances.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and management of commercial litigation cases involving vehicle dealerships.
Conduct court appearances in both the High Court and Magistrates' Court.
Handle cases related to breach of agreements, damage to vehicles, negligent services, and debt collections.
Research legal precedents and draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to strategize case management and legal approaches.
Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and developments.
Qualifications: LLB degree.
Admitted as an attorney in South Africa.
Relevant experience in commercial litigation, particularly with exposure to matters involving vehicle dealerships (internship or articles experience preferred).
Strong understanding of litigation principles, especially regarding breach of agreements, damages, and negligence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
