Junior Labour Relationship Specialist

Our client, a nationally renowned Bargaining Council in the Automotive industry, is seeking to URGENTLY appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual as Junior Labour Relations Specialist to be based in their Cape Town Offices, Western Cape.PLEASE NOTE :A benchmarked Salary of R16000.00 per month is on offer.KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS :At minimum a Grade 12 certificate and / or equivalent academic qualification.A related Labour relations qualification is ESSENTIAL.At least 2 years solid experience in Labour Relations is ESSENTIAL.At least 2 years solid sales experience is ESSENTIAL.In-depth motor industry environment experience will prove advantageous.At least 1 year experience of the Bargaining Council Agreements.Above average verbal and written communication and listening skills.Ability to build strong effective relationships with all stakeholders, including existing clients, potential clients, colleagues, and management.Good decision making and problem-solving skills.Good analytical skills with attention to detail.Report writing skills.Good organizational and planning skills.Ability to communicate in English is essential and ability to handle own correspondence.In possession of a current valid driver's license and have 2 years driving experience.Successful completion of the Agents Examination, Parts I & II will be an advantage.Technical experience/knowledge in motor engineering and/or motor vehicle repairs is advantageous.KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :Routinely conducts inspections by visiting establishments to ensure that the collective agreement is maintained by the establishments in the assigned zones/areas.Identifies, advises, and assists in correcting contraventions to the collective agreement.Improves communication regarding aspects of the collective agreement to all the establishments to promote healthy industrial relations within assigned zones/areas.Ensures that the members' general awareness of the collective agreements is increased within assigned establishments/areas.Enforces the collective agreement by way of prescribed legal processes.Manages and schedules appointments with establishments in the assigned zones/areas.Promotes the benefits and functions of the Company to members during inspections.APPLY NOW!NOTE WELL :WILLINGNESS TO RELOCATE NATIONALLY IS ESSENTIAL.AN APPOINTMENT ALIGNED WITH OUR CLIENT'S EE PLAN WILL BE MADE.
