About the job Junior Internal AuditorMinimum requirements:Grade 12Articles completed or 3 years experienceB Com (Hons) Internal AuditingGeneral knowledge of auditingKnowledge of IT programmes utilisedKnowledge of sound business accounting and control practicesAbility to analyseResponsibilities:All work performed must be completed in accordance with the standard for the professional practice of internal auditing and the company's audit methodologyKeep abreast of new developments and techniques in the internal audit profession for possible application to the companyMaintain a professional approach in the performance of reviews by understanding of the purpose and responsibilities within an audit areaEnsure that there are proper, neatly organised audit filesMarket the advantages of Internal Audit to management continuouslyProvide on the job training to subordinates, where applicable by directing and counselling subordinatesPlanning of the audit work to be performedPlanning of audit engagementsPlanning of meetings with line management/customers for audit purposesEnsure that the planning of reviews is followed as per the audit methodologyPerform ongoing risk analysis by observing, analysing and consulting with relevant management and parties of the identified audit areasPrioritise risk for engagement and relevant internal controls of the environmentDevelop a comprehensive understanding of the purpose, responsibilities and procedure/activities/functions within assigned focus areasConduct any ad hoc assignment as requiredEnsure that each internal audit is conducted in accordance with Standard 400 of Internal AuditorsStandards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and Internal Audits audit methodologyPrepare draft written reports on the results of reviews in accordance with Internal Audits reportConduct follow up reviews as scheduled by the manager#J-18808-Ljbffr
