Junior Industrial Engineer

To plan, implement and improve total industrial engineering functions to support meeting the Company's manufacturing objectives.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Provide management with information in order to effectively manage organizational resources.
Implement and improve production line efficiency, standardised work processes, packaging, material information flow and Kanban.
Conduct method studies for all existing and proposed operations within areas of delegated responsibility, in order to improve efficiency in production with an emphasis on material conveyance.
Daily liaison with Line Management & provide assistance as required.
Compile & submit required monthly reports to Senior Industrial Engineer.
Undertake any other projects or tasks as assigned by Management from time to time.
Any other tasks or duties as assigned by Management from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:

An Engineering Degree / Diploma.
At least 1 - 2 years industrial engineering experience in an automotive environment.
Ability to assist in the design of factory layouts.
Computer literacy must include MS Word, MS Projects, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Auto Cad.
Must have the ability to work under continuous pressure.
Have excellent communication skills.
