Career Opportunities: Junior HR Business Partner (84099) Create a positive employee experience through delivery of efficient and effective HR services, practices, and procedures. Along with Senior HRBP, act as a consultant to Business Leaders and employees on all HR matters.
Key Accountabilities - 1 Support the business in developing a strong performance culture Implement the performance management process, ensuring compliance across business units. Ensure annual performance reviews are held for all employees through the appropriate performance management system. Promote ongoing performance management by ensuring that regular performance discussions take place. Roll out annual performance management process (communicate goal setting, timelines, ensure all information is updated on the system, follow up with employees and managers). Prepare all data for calibration sessions & keep a record of business unit calibration discussions. Manage the year end compensation planning process. Key Accountabilities - 2 Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Provide recruitment support by managing the recruitment, selection, and placement process in line with the company's policy, i.e. create requisitions, screen applicants, interview process, collect all required documentations, pre-employment checks, manage all system-related issues related to recruitment and extension of offers. Ensure recruitment is done in line with the company's EE plan. Ensure that job descriptions are relevant and up to date. Manage onboarding processes, e.g., communication of new joiners, arranging for work tools, office space etc. and HR induction. With support from the global HR team, manage the expatriation process. Manage the 30-60-90 day process and provide feedback. Facilitate relocation of employees. Manage probationary reviews. Key Accountabilities - 3 Human Resources Administration Manage the capturing of HR information and data into the HR system and assure the integrity of data. Provide advice and information to business leaders and employees on HR policies and procedures and address all HR queries within agreed timelines. Manage terminations and exit interviews. Maintain employee records – ensure all relevant supporting documentation and information within the sphere of HR is kept up to date. Oversee and direct HR-related administrative tasks, such as benefit administration, vacation management, leave administration, prepare, and maintain employee files. Ensure accurate data quality for audits and reporting. Contribute to the optimization of the HR processes. Escalate data and HR system related challenges to the global HR team and Senior HRBP. Manage monthly payroll inputs. Prepare HR reports. Assist with administration of documents in line with statutory obligations (UIF, IOD, etc.) Key Accountabilities - 4 HR Initiatives Drive HR initiatives and projects. Reinforce Policies & Practices – Promptly escalate and assist to resolve issues. Implement Wellness initiatives. Partner with COE to implement processes/projects/initiatives. Along with COE and Senior HRBP, drive D,E and I initiatives. Key Accountabilities - 5 to 6 Employee Relations Provide advice to managers on disciplinary and grievance matters and support with investigations. Handle logistics for disciplinary, grievance and performance hearings/meetings. Maintain records of all cases. Learning and Development Facilitate HR training including ad hoc refresher training for business leaders and employees. Drive Development Plans for all employees in C Band and below. Handle logistics for training interventions and workshops. Education Qualification HR/ Degree in Organisational Psychology, Human Sciences, or a business degree Minimum 4 years of experience in a human resources role covering all processes of HR. The role also requires a good team player and good organisation and communication skills. Previous experience in a similar role. Skills: Good communication skills and administrative ability. Multi-tasking and working under pressure. Good planning and organising skills.  Knowledge of legal landscape in South Africa.
