Junior Graphic Designer/Social Media Manager

Our client, a leading logistics company based in Roodepoort is looking for a talented and dynamic Graphic Designer / Social Media Manager who can also handle marketing and event planning to join their creative team.Duties & ResponsibilitiesGraphic Design:o Develop and design marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, banners, andadvertisements.o Create visually compelling graphics for our website, social media channels, andemail campaigns.o Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent brand identity across all platforms.o Maintain and update design templates and brand guidelinesMarketing:o Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns.o Create engaging content for digital and print media to promote our services.o Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide Social Media Marketing:o Manage and maintain our social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.o Develop and schedule engaging and relevant content to increase brand awareness and engagement.o Monitor social media trends and competitor activities to stay updated with industry best practices.o Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.recommendations for improvement.o Coordinate with external vendors and partners for marketing-related activities. Event Planning:o Plan and organize company events, including trade shows, conferences, andpromotional events.o Coordinate logistics, marketing materials, and event setups.o Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful event execution.o Manage event budgets and provide post-event reports and analysis.Desired Experience & QualificationQualifications:Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in a marketing or advertising roleProficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).Experience with video editing software is a plusStrong understanding of marketing principles and social media platforms.Experience in planning and organizing events.
