The Fire Detection Engineer/Technician will be responsible for pre sales and post sales support which also include, designing, quoting, supporting, and troubleshooting fire detection systems. This role requires a deep understanding of fire detection technologies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, (The company will Invest in training for this). The successful candidate will work closely with clients, project managers, and other engineering teams to ensure the delivery and support of high-quality fire detection solutions. Responsibilities: Design and support fire detection systems in accordance with client specifications and regulatory standards. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to fire detection systems. Prepare technical documentation, including design plans, specifications, and reports. Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical support. To support partners with the control panels and all other equipment for fire alarm systems with the guidance of building plans and electrical layouts Continuously expanding your knowledge on all our products and future products (E-Learnings, trainings and familiarizing yourself with competitive products To support and or install the danger management systems ( Building management systems) Inspect and test systems to ensure all components are performing well and comply with safety requirements Working out designs based on product knowledge Occasional deliveries or pick ups Stay updated with the latest advancements in fire detection technology and industry best practices. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards. National Diploma in Electrical Engineering/N6 in Electrical Electrical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field. (BTech advantageous) Proven experience as a Fire Detection Engineer or similar role. (Advantageous but not compulsory) In-depth knowledge of fire detection systems, components, and installation practices. (Advantageous but not compulsory) Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, BS, EN). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using CAD software and other relevant engineering tools. Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
