Junior Financial Manager

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Financial Manager to be based in Paarl.Duties & ResponsibilitiesClient engagement.Financial Planning.Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.Administration of group payment processes.Financial Record Management:Development of data management to ensure accuracy and compliance of financial records.Cashflow Management:Preparation of monthly/annual cashflow reports.Preparation of cashflow forecast report.Financial Reporting:Processing of bank statements.Preparation of annual budgets.Preparation of monthly management statements for each entity.Preparation of consolidated monthly management statements for the group.Preparation of annual trail balances for external accountants.Maintenance of fixed asset register.Strategic Insights:Analyse financial data and provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.Preparation of cost analysis reports.Tax compliance:Preparation of VAT201 reports.Oversee effective annual tax planning for the group.Monthly payroll processing and submissions of EMP201.General:COIDA return submissions.Oversee day-to-day accounting activities to ensure expenses and revenues are accurately recorded.Supervise the functions of accounts payable and accounts receivable.Oversee finance applications and planning for vehicles.Assisting staff with financial queries and providing advice.Desired Experience & QualificationFormal Diploma or Degree in Accounting.SAIPA or CIMA qualification and registration will be beneficial.Good knowledge of the various tax laws.2 to 5 years post articles experience.Proven record of accomplishment with strong management skills of team members.Knowledge of Pastel, Xero and Excel accounting software.Should be a person that takes initiative in performing his or her role.Should be familiar with SARS and e-filing.Detailed oriented with good time management skills and is able to prioritise effectively.Should have a strong attention to detail.Desired SkillsFinancial ManagerSAIPACIMAAccountingDesired Work Experience2 to 5 yearsDesired Qualification LevelDegree
