Junior Financial AccountantJunior Financial Accountant required to ensure that the trial balance for the division is accurate and complete. This is done by:Posting the relevant month-end JournalsMaking sure the correct intercompany contracts at the correct prices and tonnages are usedEnsuring that Safex, the Hedges, and the Forex are correctly allocatedAnalysis of the division's income statementPreparation of the division's balance sheet reconsReview of all division's creditorsReview of all the site stock count, procedures, stock gain loss analysis, and stock reportingReporting to the Site Financial Accountant and Group Finance Manager.Duties & ResponsibilitiesManagement Account journals and Balance Sheet reconsAnalysis of Management account Income StatementReview of stock gain loss analysisReview of Creditors reconsIdentify Control/procedure issuesContract management for the division which matches up the Safex to the Hedges to the Forex and finally to the product produced and soldDesired Experience & QualificationExperience in month-end close processKnowledge of IFRS and taxationA good understanding of Safex, Hedges, and ForexMaintaining and creating processes and controls around the management of stockExperience in manufacturing and FMCG environmentFinance Degree/Diploma2-5 years relevant experienceSAGE ERP experience (advantageous)Package & RemunerationMarket related.
