Reference: 9550 AV Consultant:Anneke Viviers Job Description: Daily accounting tasks including month-end procedures and journals. Daily management of account payables & account receivables duties. Daily cash up & reconciliations for Cellar and Lodge. Daily administration duties for Lodge, Cellar Door, Events and General. Check and process invoices to the correct department and GL allocations & match to orders. Bank payments, bank processing & reconciliations and petty cash administration. Assist with quotes, invoices and financial processing for hospitality and production departments. Calculate monthly food costs for the hospitality departments. Assist in month-end stock takes for the Lodge and Tasting Room. Assist with item journals for wine samples, tasting stock and wine transfers between locations. Assist with the compilation of the annual budget, monitoring thereof and reporting to FM and GM Financial Analysis – Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the performance of variousHospitality services, such as room revenue, food and beverage sales. Identify areas forimprovement and make recommendations to management. Audit support – assist with internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed to ensure compliance with audit requirements (financial and non-financial audits) General support to the Financial Manager Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Financial Accounting 3 – 5 years practical financial and administration experience in a financial corporate environment Previous experience in Business Central will be beneficial. Working experience in the Wine industry and or hospitality sector will be beneficial. Computer literate (Excel | Word | General) Own driver's license with reliable transport Communicates well with others and with clients. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
