Junior Financial Accountant

Hiring: Junior Financial Accountant (Rosebank) Key Responsibilities: Assist with managing cashbooks and bank reconciliations for multiple companies in different currencies.Help maintain the fixed assets register and assist with processing depreciation.Support in the calculation and reconciliation of VAT.Assist in processing credit card transactions and employee reimbursements.Assist with preparing and posting monthly journal entries (accruals, provisions, prepayments).Ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date.Provide support with financial reporting and insights for management.Assist in year-end audits and financial reporting processes.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.No prior experience required, but some exposure to accounting or bookkeeping is a plus.Basic knowledge of South African financial laws and regulations.Exposure to foreign currency transactions is an advantage.Familiarity with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) is a plus.Proficient in accounting software and Excel.Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.If you are interested, please send your CV to Salary: R Job Reference #: 1146763
